DUNKIRK - Robert B. Hemink, 52, of W. Sixth Street, Dunkirk, NY, died Wednesday (January 20, 2016) in his home. He was born August 2, 1963 in Dunkirk. Bob was a diesel mechanic for Don Frame Trucking in Pomfret, NY He was a member of the Bear Lake Gun Club. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, gardening, and he loved his dogs. He is survived by his parents, Terry and Loretta Palmatier Hemink; his companion, Diane DeLoe Crespo, a step son, Jeffery Crespo Jr.; five sisters, Carla, Rhonda, Shelly, Linda, and Stacie; one brother, Leonard Hemink; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Rev. David Herr will officiate. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
