Robert ?Bob? Kizlik, age 73, a resident of Lake Nebagamon, WI, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.Robert Joseph Kizlik was born on May 29, 1941, in Superior, WI to parents Joseph and Genevieve (Raschka) Kizlik. He attended the Solon Springs, WI schools in his younger years before graduating from Central High School, Superior, WI in 1960. Bob worked for several years for the Red Owl Grocery Stores and was the Assistant Manager at the Virginia, MN store. In 1972, Bob became the owner/operator of Lake Minnesuing Store and Resort on Lake Minnesuing. In the early 80's, he sold the store and resort and began a career in the trucking industry until his retirement in 2006 from Northway Carriers, Superior, WI. On May 28, 1994, Bob was united in marriage to Marilyn (Huffman) Rypkema at the Lake Nebagamon Baptist Church. Bob loved hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. He was a skilled mechanic and woodworker who enjoyed ?fixing things? in his garage, making clocks, and had a special knack for training horses.Bob is survived by his wife Marilyn of Lake Nebagamon, WI, children: Jeff (Julie) Kizlik of West St. Paul, MN, Rick (Karry) Kizlik of Springbrook, WI, Kathleen (John) Prock of Eau Claire, WI, Lynnette (Curt) Wester of Lake Nebagamon, WI, Joel (Angel) Rypkema of Greenville, NC, Brian (Rene) Rypkema of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.Bob is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Jenny, sister JoAnne, and brothers Tony & Johnny.Funeral services for Robert ?Bob? Kizlik will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 3 pm, at Mission Covenant Church in Poplar, WI with Pastor Tom Blomberg officiating. Visitation will be held at the Church on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Lake Nebagamon Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the Building Fund at Grace Baptist Church, Iron River, WI will be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at www.bratley-nelsonchapels.com
