Not sure what to say?

Mr. LeCours was my French teacher in high school many years ago. I remember him as patient and kind, a true gentleman. So sorry for your loss.

Having heard today that Bob died on Dec 20th, I wish to express my sympathy to his entire family. The obituary in the Saratogian was very well written capturing the highlights of Bob's life. I have experienced his beautiful and forceful voice and I'm sure he is adding it to the voices of all the other angels. Hopefully, he is also signing solos.

I was fortunate that M. LeCours was my French teacher for two years at Saratoga Springs HS. He was an attentive, creative, and patient teacher, and is the reason I can still read French today, 55 years later. As a principal, he was a wise and impartial leader. The world was better for his presence in it, and I will always remember him fondly. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Although I was teaching in Greenfield Center, I would get to know Bob as I was assigned to coach boys' tennis at the high school. He was the one and only principal who would truly get to know me and I instantly realized that he listened and helped me when I needed it. My condolences go out to the entire family.

I was fortunate to have been a student of Monsieur LeCour at SSHS in the mid-1960's, but was more blessed to have known such a gifted teacher and generous man.

It was and honor to have been one of Bob's assistant principals from 1975 10 1978. His sense of school management in both positive and hard times was invaluable in my administrative to follow. Our prayers are with his family

I have many fond memories of Bob as a principal and a leader at Saratoga high school and I owe him a lot for hiring me in 1970. He was always a brilliant and compassionate man and his children were much the same, I was especially close to his dom, Tom, who was an outstanding wrestler for me and later owned a sporting goods store that helped me and many others. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go to all his family, you were a great man, RIP my friend, Blase

Heartfelt condolences to all Bob's family. There were two Bobs that made it possible for me to have my teaching career in Saratoga Springs - Bob Meade and Bob LeCours. As a new teacher I found Bob to be open and encouraging. I felt there was a glint in his eyes that exuded a comfort of who he was, what he knew, and how happy a person he was.

Mr LeCours was my french teacher in the 80s. I always remembered him because of his kind way with his students and his way of making teaching fun. He was one of my role models in my career as a teacher. He touched many lives. Rest in peace.
