Bob Meyer

Robert “Bob” Meyer, age 72, of White Oak, Ohio, passed away surrounded by love. Born in Cheviot, Ohio, to Fred and Rosemary Meyer, Bob was one of nine children and proudly called the west side of Cincinnati his home throughout his life.

Bob was the devoted father of Jeff, Adam (Amy), Meghan, and Jenna, and the loving grandfather of Carly and Everett. He was the former husband and lifelong friend of Cathy Giovanetti. Bob is survived by his siblings Ron (Jaime), Arlene (John), Linda, Nancy, Kathy (Mike), Roger (Mary), Dan (Kim), and Martin (Mary Sue), along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

With a remarkable green thumb and a deep love for the outdoors, Bob founded Bob Meyer Landscape Service, a business he built and nurtured over nearly 50 years. His dedication to his craft and the pride he took in his work were second only to the love he had for his family.

Bob was known for his kindness and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He cherished classic cars, his family, and his work. His one-of-a kind sense of humor, unstoppable drive and his quiet generosity made him unforgettable, and he will be missed by everyone he knew.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 5527 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247 on Sunday December 14, 2025 from 2-4 PM. A funeral service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at Saint Martin of Tours Church on Monday, December 15 at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to the NationalBrain Tumor Society (https://braintumor.org/) in honor of Bob’s memory.
