Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt sympathies to Mr. Mills family & friends. I remember him fondly.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. So sorry to hear about Bob´s passing Bob Mary Beiter

Mark and Family, my sincere condolences on the passing of your dad. May your sorrow at this time be quickly replaced by the memories of the good times you shared with your father. May his soul rest in peace.

To the Mills Family. Our deepest sympathy. Bob was a wonderful man and a second father to me. I grew up with the Mills and Bob was very influential in my life. I experienced a lot of firsts with him and his family. Sunday dinners at Gram Soltis or letting me learn to drive the farm truck, or taking care of the grass on the farm. He was always there when you needed him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed Rest in Peace! Amen. George and Chris Wisener and Family

Gift of Warmth Wreath

My deepest sympathy as we mourn the loss of Uncle Bob. I will always cherish the fond memories from childhood, visiting during the Christmas holidays when our family spent such special time with Aunt Ann and Uncle Bob. He was always so sweet and very charming, and his warmth made those gatherings even more meaningful. He will truly be missed by many.

Love,
Jayne

My deepest sympathy.

Robert's Obituary

Robert W. Mills

His family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Robert W. “Bob” Mills of North Huntingdon at 1:21 pm Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Bob was born in McKeesport, the youngest of five children to the late Joseph Addison and Della (Ginevan) Mills. Graduating from the McKeesport Vocational High School in 1952, he met the love of his life Anna Soltis during high school at Rainbow Gardens, they married on June 19, 1954.

Bob began his professional plumbing career in 1953, working with JFK Plumbing of Forest Hills. Five years later in 1958 he embarked on his own by purchasing one of JFK’s  divisions and renamed it Robert W. Mills Plumbing & Heating based in his father-in-law’s garage. The business flourished and became well known, respectful, and reliable throughout Westmoreland and Allegheny Counties allowing Bob to construct a new home in the Kim Plan. There  he and Ann raised their two children, Ronda and Mark. In the mid 1970’s, they relocated to Baldock Acres,  renovating an 1818 historic home that was deeded by William Penn.

The family worshipped at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Bob became active in the community as a Charter Member of the Norwin Elks Lodge #2313. Throughout the years, he enjoyed hunting trips out West, skiing with his family at 7-Springs, boating  with his sister-in-law Evelyn and her husband  Mike Potoma, traveling to Europe with his wife Ann, and taking day trips to Deep Creek Lake with his daughter and son-in-law. When asked if he would have changed anything in his life, Bob responded, “I have had a wonderful life and wouldn’t change a thing!”

Bob celebrated 91 birthdays and 71 years of marriage with his surviving wife, Anna (Soltis) Mills; he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Ronda Ann Mills-Ferguson (Rob) and his son, Mark R. Mills (Ashley & Dylan); his grandchildren, Amanda Lowery (Dave), Mark Mills II (Heather), and Melanie Mills (Geddy) and their mother, Mary Ann Mills; his great grandchildren, Maddy, Justin,  Blake, Damien, and.
