Not sure what to say?

Mr. Mirich made a huge difference in my life as my life circumstances were not good at that time but he showed me enormous kindness and encouraged my love for school so now I have a Ph.D. and have taught many thousands of students in college, many who had difficult lives like mine and who now have great lives since being in my classes which shows the power of one person to change so many more lives than they knew like Mr. Mirich.

Mr. Mirich was a great person, educator and coach at BHS. Always willing to help students become better by modeling his hard work ethic, classroom content and genuine personality. He was always very good to me and a true gentleman.
My condolences to Mrs. Mirich ,Rob and Kyle. Great family.

Dear Rose Ann, Robbie, Kyle & Families, I was very sorry to hear of Sonny's passing. I remember him as a very sincere, strong, caring man who was always such a pillar of strength within the family. Sonny will be dearly missed by so many. You are all in my thoughts & prayers. Love, diane

Mr. Mirich was one of my favorite teachers at West Junior High in the '70s. When teachers had to inspect books at the end of the year for ripped pages and writing in the book, there were a few ink marks in my book. He gave me a fine of 25 cents, which I paid the next day in pennies. He didn't find it funny (although I did), and told me to bring back a quarter the next day. I couldn't find a quarter, so I brought two dimes and a nickel. That was satisfactory! Rest in Peace.

Sonny and I shared coffee many mornings at City Brew or Starbucks after I came from the Y. I will miss him and all of our good conversations.

Rose Ann, Rob and Kyle,
Our sincere condolences for the loss of Sonny. He was an excellent educator, tremendous basketball official, an ambassador for Butte always, and an all -around gentleman. Over the past few years, I enjoyed seeing Sonny at City Brew having his early 7:00 am coffee. He will be dearly missed in the Butte Community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family. A real fine person. Peggy and Jim Kambich
