Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Monroe's passing. As part of the RCCS class of 1997, I had Mr. Monroe 2 years for Math and homeroom, then I took Pre-Calc & Calc with him in my senior year. I fondly remember his laugh, sense of humor and the fact that you don't want to see him mad! :) He was one of my favorite teachers.

I was pastor of the First Baptist Church in Wolcott in the early 1980's. There is an old term we used to use: "churchman." It meant someone who was always around, always aware of needs and responding to them, always dependable to be counted on when the need arose. In addition to being a good friend, Bob was a churchman. By the way, Lucia was also a "churchwoman." I remember them both with great fondness.

Every time I step out on the court he's right there with me. We were a team out there and even when I went to college and played tennis he would always call or text to remind me to...
