Not sure what to say?

Dear Cis & Family,

We are greatly sorry for your grieving. We are still working through our deep sense of loss over our Son, Graham, last year. We take comfort in our fond memories. We hope you can eventually feel the same.

Bob was a great friend and excellent, hardworking engineer. We still have all his photos from our wedding, which were oftentimes better than the professional. Without a doubt, Bob was a Family Man first and foremost that is an admirable...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Know that you are in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. Carolyn Beggs

Aunt Cis, Chris, & Austin - We're sorry for your loss. I have a lot of great memories of Uncle Bob over the years! He was such a kind person and an amazing uncle & godfather. I'm sending giant hugs your way and will see you over the next couple of days.

I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob for many years in the equipment group at Alstom/GE and he was always good to turn to for advice or for a chat A unigue fellow. I remember him showing up at the company Christmas party dressed as Santa Claus with a big old cow bell. He made a hell of a racket. May his memory be a blessing. Warmest Regards. Jim Durant

Dear Cis & Chris, Very sad to hear of Bob's passing. I really enjoyed visiting with Bob and both of you over the many weeks that I volunteered. Bob was a true gentleman with a very warm heart. I consider all of you part of my family now. Love, Bob Blondin

Obituary

Robert's Obituary

Robert N. Nowacki passed peacefully from his home to his eternal resting place on May 25, 2025 at the age of 81.  He was born in Worcester to the late Matthew and Stella (Krzeminska) Nowacki on March 27, 1944.  Bob will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Bob loved capturing special moments through photography.  Vacations in Vermont and Old Orchard Beach were often subjects.  He usually transferred these pics into slideshows that were viewed on computers which he built. He was affectionally knon as “Bob-Bob,” a nickname given to him by his oldest grandson and one which he treasured.  Whether you were a blood relative or not, he welcomed you as family.

Bob was proud of his 51-year engineering career which began at Combustion Engineering and finished at GE while remaining with the same company through all the changes.

To cherish his memory, Bob leaves his wife of 56 years, Cecile “Cis” (Perra) Nowacki, his children Mark and wife Chuen of Singapore, and Christine of Feeding Hills along with 5 grandchildren: Austin Larrabee, Diogenes, Xanthippi, Calliope, and Aristocles.  He also leaves many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4-7pm at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 1065 Springfield Street followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Baystate Health Foundation Hospice Program, 280 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01199
