Robert's Obituary

Mr. Robert Charles Post, Sr., age 73, of Tallapoosa passed away Monday, February 21, 2011. Mr. Post was born in Carroll County on December 4, 1937. He was the son of the late John Henry Grady Post and the late Maude Bell Worthan Post. Mr. Post was a retired plant manager with American Thread Company.Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Stan Ezzell of 196 South 100 West, Springville, UT 84663, 801-854-8333; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert C., Jr. and Connie Post of Parrottsville, TN; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Charles Nelson of Kennessaw and Nadene and Kenneth Bruce of Acworth; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Grady H., Jr. and Sadie Mae Post of Lithia Springs, Jimmy H. Post of Marietta and Raymond G. and Carolyn Post of Marietta; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.No services are planned. The body will be cremated. The family requests donations in memory of Mr. Post be made to the American Heart Association, www.americanheart.org or to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
