Bob was the go to guy for the heat plant answers at denison -- he was a good soul , and the only reason I ever tried pickled herring .I will miss him

Funeral services for Robert W. "Hooks" Prycl age 56 of Newark will be held Sunday November 30, 2014 at 6 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Homes with Pastor Donald Moshgat officiating.Mr. Prycl died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born February 24, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert James and Evelyn Jean (Femc) Prycl.Hooks was employed for 29 years with Denison University as a stationary engineer. He was a member of the Brushy Fork United Methodist Church. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He believed in staying active and productive. He was always available to be a helping hand to someone in need. Spending time with his family was a priority. Their past times including playing cards, camping, cruises and home improvements.He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Elaine (Bosiljevac) Prycl, whom he married March 20, 1982; children, Chrissy Jackson of Newark, D.J. (Rebecca) Woistman of Pataskala, Bobby Prycl of Newark, Sarah (Roger) Hamilton of Newark; grandchildren, Addison, Gracie, Lena, Gage, Rowan, Brock; sisters, Debra Meyer of Pittsburgh, PA, Barbara Childers of Belmont, W.VA, Diane (Don) Brown of Sharpsburg, PA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Visitation will be observed Sunday from 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street, Newark.The family suggests memorial contributions to Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-9909. www.foundationforhoco.org Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
