Age 88, of Ross Township, on Monday, June 22, 2020. He was born on March 29, 1932 to his late parents Rudolph C. and Anna R. (Momper) Raida, Sr. and was married in 1959 for over 60 years to Joanna R. (Wujko) Raida who passed away on July 6, 2019. Loving father of Deborah Ann (Brad) Raida Short, Roy C. Raida and Deanna A. Raida; devoted grandfather of Adrian John Silich; brother of Patricia A. Raida, the late Margaret A. Schessler, Virginia L. Lewis and Rudolph C. Raida, Jr.; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was the owner and operator of Raida Auto Wreckers until his retirement in 2001. Beginning in 1965, he was a Ross Township Commissioner for over 37 consecutive years. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Avenue, Allison Park, PA 15101 on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. A funeral luncheon will be held immediately following at Silvioni’s Restaurant, 2125 Babcock Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
