Robert Jay Rinnert, 64 years old of Bad Axe, passed away on Saturday November 13th, 2021 surrounded by his family, at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City, Michigan.
Robert was born on November 5, 1957 to the late Robert and Bette (Shuff) Rinnert.
Robert enjoyed spending time tinkering on many wood projects, being outside, and fishing. His greatest enjoyment was being Papa, and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to give them balloons and watch their faces light up with happiness.
Robert is survived by his life partner Kathy, his son Matthew (Alysha) Rinnert; his daughter Amy Rinnert; his grandchildren Samantha, Lily, Matthew Jr., and MaKenzie; his brothers, Kenneth (Judy) Rinnert, Harry (Jen) Elliott, Stanley Rinnert, Clifford, (Lynn) Rinnert, Floyd (Lori) Elliott ; sisters Bonnie (Ronnie) Smith, Vickie (Robert) Scott; and brother-in-law Edward Fritz, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Tom (Tammy) Rinnert; his sister Cheryl Fritz; and his grandson Steven Rinnert.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 20th from 1-4 PM, at Wilcox Park in Bad Axe.
