Not sure what to say?

I would not be the man I am today without Bob. His Latin class at La Salle turned into a Philosophy seminar at times, and those were some of the most impactful moments of my high school career. I still have a poster of the earth “with no country borders/lines” from his class that he let me take home. Thank you Bob. Rest in peace.

My uncle was Don Ehrhart. Don passed away in December 23'. Bob was one of his best friends for 50+ years. In these later years, Don, Bob and Judy would attend CSO performances and other musical events in Cincinnati. I know Don greatly valued his friendship with Bob. Since we learned of Bob's terminal illness, Don thought he would outlive Bob but that wasn't the case. I like to think he was there to greet Bob in the afterlife. Bob, rest in peace. Judi, our thoughts and prayers are with...

Bob was one of my favorite teachers at LaSalle and between his and Tom Luebbe's dedication to the drama department my high school years at LaSalle were one of the best parts of my life.

I remember him helping Tom with Encore! in the summer as well.

I am so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was significant in helping me determine the nature of my life as an adult, what I became. When I think of my time at LaSalle (class of '70), it is the plays he directed and my involvement with them, that always come to mind. Bob was a wonderful and giving man. I am happy that, although I lived far from Cincinnati, I was able to reconnect with him the few years, both in person and through social media.

Bob was by far my favorite teacher at LaSalle High School. He had a wealth of knowledge that he shared with his students, and his literature recommendations forever changed my life. Thanks Bob!
