In loving memory of a wonderful man who was larger than life. He loved from the bottom of his heart and was loved just as deeply by those who had the privilege of calling him family and friend. Noone could help smilng from ear to ear when you were enjoying his smile. Robert you will never be far from our hearts, so fly high with the eagles. We will love you and miss you all the days of our lives. By the way when you see our families give them hugs and kisses from us. Rest in God's peace.

Robert's Obituary

Robert Glen Shields passed away September 29, 2025 in El Paso, Texas.  He was born February 13, 1981 in Pasadena, Texas to George “Buddy” and Katherine Laura (Mouton) Shields.

He is preceded in death by his brother Joe Dwayne Shields; grandparents, Marion and Martha Mouton, and Jane Sheilds; and uncle, Glen Derek Shields.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Stephanie Trice; his children, Brianna Nicole Pounds and spouse Hailey, Mia Destyni Shields and spouse Evan, Shawn Glen Shields, and Zackery Shields; grandson Elijah Anthony Braillif; parents George and Katherine Shields; brother Shane Shields and spouse Danielle; sister Barbara Stokes and spouse Jack. and paternal grandfather, George Shields.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.  

Robert worked for 8 plus years with Paper Chasin’ Pilots providing transportation for the wind power industry.  He enjoyed playing games with his son, sharing his free time with his family.  

He will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind to cherish his memory and to honor his legacy.
