Seekonk – Robert M. Smutek, 64, a self-employed Master Electrician, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Norma L. (Tootell) Smutek for forty-two years. Born in Attleboro, a son of the late Edward and Pauline (Petzold) Smutek, he resided in Seekonk most of his life. Bob was a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran, and enjoyed golfing. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert D. Smutek and Michael R. Smutek and his wife, Donna; a sister, Pamela Meunier and her husband, Robert of Seekonk; two brothers, John Smutek and his wife, Nancy of Seekonk and Jeff Smutek of Pawtucket; three granddaughters, Karisa, Morgan and Madison Smutek and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to VISITATION on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. The funeral followed by interment will be private.
