Robert's Obituary

Robert Stanaback, 86, of East Bangor, passed away, Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Monroe, East Stroudsburg.  He was the husband of Janet (Hubert) Stanaback.

Born in Franklin, NJ, September 10, 1936, he was the son of the late Raymond T. Stanaback, and Mariann J. (Lyons) Davis and his step father, Thomas Davis.

Robert was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, and retired as a truck driver for Waste Management, Pen Argyl.

He was a member of the Martocci-Capobianco Post #750 of the American Legion, Roseto.

In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Clark and her husband Glen of Mongaup Valley, NY, two sons, Robert T. Stanaback, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Matamoras, and Michael J. Stanaback and his fiancé, Christina Detweiler of Roseto, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel Davis of Franklin, NJ and George Davis of Shichshinny and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and John Davis.

Funeral services will be private.  The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.
