Robert Lee Weathersby, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.  He was the son of Ulysses and Ida Bell McFarland Weathersby. Loving father of Lawrence Weathersby, Robin Young and Khalek Shabazz; devoted brother of Ulysses, Jr., George, Leonard, Jart, Eleria, Jerome, Veorge, Thomas, John and Ira Weathersby.  Homegoing services for Robert L. Weathersby will be held at Living the Word International Ministries, 2528 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, Louisiana 70461 on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.  Pastor Lawrence Weathersby, Sr., officiating. Viewing at 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment: Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, Louisiana. Arrangements by Doyle Funeral Home, Slidell, Louisiana.
