Roberto Arellano Ayala, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, at the age of 89. Roberto was born on April 1, 1936, in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Refugio Arellano and Anastasia Ayala. He was one of six siblings, growing up surrounded by the strong bonds of family and tradition that would shape his life.In 1959, Roberto married the love of his life, Celia Arellano Solis, and together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, love, and perseverance. They celebrated 66 years of marriage before Celia’s passing on December 2, 2024. Their union was blessed with five children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, who were the joy and pride of his life.Roberto studied accounting in Mexico, but like many seeking opportunity, he immigrated to the United States to provide a better life for his family. He worked tirelessly as a field worker and later spent many years in the restaurant industry, earning the respect of all who knew him for his strong work ethic and unwavering dedication.Proud of his roots, Roberto carried with him a deep love for his Mexican culture. He was happiest surrounded by music, especially tambora and mariachi, and his eyes would light up at the sight of a horse or while at a rodeo. A true charro at heart, Roberto embodied the spirit of a cowboy, strong, proud, and full of life.Above all, Roberto was a family man; loving, dependable, and deeply devoted. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were his greatest treasure, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His laughter, stories, and presence will be profoundly missed but forever remembered by those who loved him.Roberto lived life to the fullest, guided by love, faith, and resilience. His legacy of strength, warmth, and devotion will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
