This is so hard to believe. I worked with Rocky at the Golden Corral back in the day on Crater rd. Petersburg. I remember him being funny and always laughing. It’s hard to imagine him passing on. I really don’t know how to feel about this, because, I was just at his mom funeral talking with Jim, and Jeff. I would like to send me deepest heartfelt condolences to the family. My 85 Classmate, Jeff, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved brother. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

My condolences and prayers for Rocky’s family. Rocky was not only a a great high school classmate and friend but more importantly - simply a good human being.

He would take time to keep me encouraged and share his experiences, as our spouses - were having similar health issues. Rocky was amazingly optimistic and profoundly reflective.as even during his last days, he found the effort to offer a final response of love.

As Jesus said in Mathew’s 25:21 “Well done.”

My condolences to the Gholson family. Rocky was a wonderful kind man who ALWAYS looked out for others. I remember seeing Rocky on yard of Howard U when I came and he looked out for me since I was his homegirl. Rest in Peace Rocky and in the Arms of Jesus.
