He was an amazing man, the best grandpa, and an even better great-grandpa. He was tough, hard working, caring, and the true definition of a family man. I am so thankful that God chose me to be your granddaughter. I will cherish every memory, every moment, and every instant we shared together. The best grandfather a person could ask for. Kind, warm, thoughtful, and so full of love for his family. I will miss our companionable silence on the picnic table in the backyard, our card games at the kitchen table, our stories shared and listened to, and the way you smelled when I hugged you- dial soap, old spice, and hazelnut coffee. I keep you with me everywhere I go, held closely in my heart. Le amaré usted por siempre y para siempre.

When I first became a supervisor at G.M., Roy helped me navigate " obstructions " I now had to deal with. He always had a great sense of humor and could take a good joke. Let's not forget Roy's hot pepper trap, he had it perfected. Most of all I considered Roy my friend. May you find comfort in knowing him. R.I.P. Roy.
