We sure are going to miss seeing you every day. I'm going to be lost without you. You were always there to help me up and to comfort me. You were the GREATEST Papa me & my kiddos could ask for. Your bestest lil buddy, Peyton is going to be so confused. Please watch over him and his health. I know how much he meant to you and you know you meant the world to him. Roger's Obituary

Roger Hooper, Sr. Roger Dale Hooper, Sr. age 70, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his home. Mr. Hooper was born November 27, 1944 in Longview, Texas. He was a retired Truck Driver, former Heavy Equipment operator, and former pilot. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a Christian. He is survived by his; two daughters and sons-in-law: Samantha and Robert Rogers of Texarkana, Texas; Amy and Jeff Green of Texarkana, Texas; two sons: Roger Hooper, Jr. of Wake Village, Texas; Stephen Heard of Tennessee Colony, Texas; twenty three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother: Wesley Hooper of Bloomburg, Texas; two sisters: Sharon Cox of Nashville, Arkansas; Diane Hamilton of Nashville, Arkansas; his former wife: Bonnie Hooper of Texarkana, Texas; her three sons: Jay McCullough of Hooks, Texas; Randy McCullough of Texarkana, Texas; Don McCullough of Ft. Worth, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Eakin officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children?s Hospital, 1 Children?s Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
