Roger Thomas McLone, 75, of Flint, Michigan, passed away, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, Michigan. Private services and burial were held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint, Michigan.Roger was born March 22, 1939, in Flint, Michigan to the late Agnes (Gorman) and James McLone. He attended Northern High School. He married Carol Whitten in May, 1961. Roger retired from GM after 30 years as a skilled tradesman. He was an Army veteran. Roger enjoyed long drives in the country, movies, reading, and music. Roger is survived by his daughter, Laura McLone-Grzeck and husband John Grzeck, two sons, Thomas McLone, Sean McLone and wife Sheila (Wright) McLone, daughters-in-law, Irma (Lambaria) McLone, Elizabeth (Matthews) McLone; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Dr. David McLone and wife Norene (Ecker) McLone; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes (Gorman) McLone and James McLone, two brothers Terrance McLone and James McLone Jr., and a son, James Richard McLone in 2012.
