I would like to send my deepest sympathies a the loss of Roland , I am saddened to hear of his passing he was my classmate at Lincoln Jr High as well as French , I Pray the comfort and strength of the lord to rest upon his family!

Mr. Roland Charles Simon, Sr., 58, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas. 

Celebration Service for Mr. Simon will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at The Gospel of Jesus Christ Church located at 2575 Wilson Street in Beaumont, Texas 77703. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial Service will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park and Cemetery in Nederland, Texas, under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. The practicing of social distancing and facial masks recommended
