Rolando "Gongie" Perales passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 59. He was born on July 14, 1966, to Senovio V. and Ramona Perales.
Mr. Perales is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Guadalupe Perales and Maria Velma Gonzales.
Mr. Perales is survived by his children, Jacob (Daisy) Perales and Rolando Ramirez; wife, Cynthia Contreras; step children, Jenny Gutierrez, Irene Contreras, Isacc Contreras, Julie Contreras, Billy Joe (Maria) Contreras, Marlana Contreras (Sherwin) and Cynthia ( John Paul) Gonzalez; siblings, Senovio (Julia†) Perales, Juan Ramon (Graciela†) Perales, Victor (Armandina) Perales, Doralinda Perales, Elsa (Mart) Fabila, Roberto (Cristina) Perales, Maria Angelina Perales, Maria Angelita Estrada and Ernesto (Elsa) Perales. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 8:30a.m. to 11:00a.m. with a Rosary at 9:00a.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:30a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla Southwest Cemetery.
