Ronald Scott Brooks

Ronald Scott Brooks, 65, of Letart, WV, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. 

He was born on November 17, 1960, in Point Pleasant, WV. He was the son of the late Charles Melvin Brooks and Janet Elaine Friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Wyatt Brooks and two grandchildren, Justin Kameron Miracle and Jacob Adam Peppers.

Ronald was a devoted family man whose life centered around the people he loved most. He found his greatest joy by spending time with his family, creating lasting memories, and offering unwavering support to those closest to him.

Survivors include his daughter, Raychelle (Shawn) Atha; grandchildren, Charlie (Clay) Steele, Blake Atha, and Bryson Atha.

Service will be 12:00 p.m.~ Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Letart Evergreen Cemetery, Letart, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time-of-service Saturday at the funeral home.
