Ronald Haythe Duffy, Sr.

Ronald H. Duffy, Sr. of Lynchburg departed this life on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Timonium, MD. He was born on June 4, 1952 to Clem Duffy and the late Betty Lorraine Duffy.Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald Duffy, Jr. of Lynchburg; a loving and devoted sister, Faith M. Donerson; one niece, Ayita Taima Donerson; one great niece, Amani Kendai Griffin all of Cockeysville, MD; one aunt, Lois Haythe of Madison Heights; three devoted cousins, Joyce Petersen, Alleyah Petersen-Loreto, Virginia Christie all of Brooklyn, NY, Kenny Blair of Woodbridge, VA and Lois Blair of Lynchburg; a devoted and longtime friend, JR Campbell of Lynchburg and a host of other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held 12:30 pm, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at First Baptist Church South Lynchburg with Rev. Carl B. Hutcherson, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in the Organ Chapel Cemetery, Gladys, VA. His remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. The family is receiving friends from 7-8pm, Monday, July 30, 2012 at Community Funeral Home and other times at the residence of JR Campbell, 831 Old Forest Rd.
