Ronald's Obituary

Mr. Ronald Grogan, 59, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas. 

Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Grogan will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1395 Gladys Street - Beaumont, Texas 77701. 

A Public Viewing for Mr. Grogan will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel and Visitation on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Military Burial Service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:15 a.m.. For your safety social distancing and facial masks are recommended.

His Life Story

Ronald Grogan was born in 1966 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and fell asleep Saturday, January 31, 2026.(John 11:11)He graduated from Central Senior High School in 1987 and proudly served his country after joining the United States Marine Corps in 1989. During his military service, he was part of Operation Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged in 1994 at the rank of Corporal (E-4).Following his military career, Ronald worked at the Sunoco refinery, where he worked through the company’s transition to Energy Transfer. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.Ronald is survived by his father, Robert Leonard Grogan, Jr.; his mother, Bessie McCarthy Brown; his son, Kristoff J. Grogan; his brothers, Russell Grogan, Sr. (Valarie), Robert Grogan,III, urtis Grogan, and Quentin Grogan; his sister, Sevellia Aaron (Jeffery); nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of uncles, aunts, and friends.Also remembered are Robert Leonard Grogan, Sr. (grandfather), Gardine Littlejohn Grogan (grandmother), Russell McCarthy (grandfather), and Bernice Joseph McCarthy (grandmother), all deceased.He will be remembered for his service, perseverance, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.
