Ronald “Ron” J. Belohlav, 76, of Rhinelander, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 9, 2025, at Rennes Health & Rehab.
Ron was born on December 15, 1948, in Milwaukee, the youngest of three children, to Clarence J. and Clara (Tamer) Belohlav. He was raised in Milwaukee and was a 1967 graduate of Dominican High School. Upon completion of high school, Ron served his Tool & Die apprenticeship through Milwaukee Forge. In 1987 he moved to Rhinelander where he was employed with Lange Machine & Tool until his retirement due to health issues.
Ron was united in marriage to Bonnie Jill Jankowski, on April 4, 1970, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
Ron loved archery and had a passion for bow hunting. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, and spending time outdoors. He cherished the home he built on Squash Lake.
Surviving are his children, Tracy Kusek (Tim) of Lake Tomahawk, and Jason Belohlav of Rhinelander, three grandchildren, Hayley, Jack, and Skylar, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Belohlav of West Allis. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Clara Belohlav, former wife, Bonnie Belohlav, one brother, Roger Belohlav and a sister, Charleen (James) Hanrahan.
The Graveside Committal Service will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery by 12:45 p.m. Fr. Chris Kemp will officiate.
