I am so sad to hear this. Ronnie, we had a lot of laughs at the Green Hut together. You were awesome & my fellow Spartan fan!! You will be missed. I am glad to have known you. Until we meet again!!

Ronald's Obituary

Mr. Ron Snable, of Bay City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 3, 2014 at his residence, age 72. The son of the late Rudolph, Sr. and Virginia (Fuhr) Snable, he was born March 12, 1942 in Bay City. Ron graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1960. He served his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965, stationed at the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida during the Cuban Missile Crisis and then went on to attend Michigan State University. Ron was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear for 26½ years and was a member of U.A.W. #699. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the MSU Spartans. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and horse racing.Besides his parents, Ron was also preceded in death by his longtime girlfriend, Cindy A'Hearn. Ron is survived by his three brothers, Rudy (Beverly) Snable, Jim (Joyce) Snable and Jerry Snable; four nephews and a niece, Scott (Gail) Snable, Stephanie (Chris) McCrumb, Shawn (Jennifer) Snable, Jon (Deanna) Snable and Patrick (Tamara) Snable; 13 grand-nieces and nephews; two aunts, Nellie Soulsby and Maureen Robinson; many cousins and special friends, and Cindy's son, Tommy. It was Ron's desire for cremation to take place. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Chris McCrumb followed by Military Honors conducted by the U.S. Air Force and the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the donor's favorite charity. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
