Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Sympathy for your family at the passing of Ron. This is Kris Sorensen I worked with Ron. Very nice Man to work with.

I am sorry for your loss. Ron was a wonderful person, friend and a great family man. He was funny, charming and friendly. I know my family adored Ron and he meant a lot to us. My thoughts and prayers are with your family .

What can I say about Ron other than he was a gem of a man. So many nights at Nutz—probably too many and too long—talking books, his kids and grandkids, and laughing about his self-proclaimed “New York” accent. He shared stories of Oklahoma, his sales and marketing days, and he was always cheering me on in my own business ventures.

My whole family enjoyed him and his fun-loving personality at Nutz and at the few parties we hosted at our home, where we all got to experience his...

Skipa,
I miss you so much. It still doesn’t feel real that you’re gone. Thank you for loving me, for all the memories, and for being such an important part of my life. I’ll carry you with me forever.
I hope you’re at peace now, watching over us with that familiar smile. You will always be in my heart.

I love you always, Skipa. Until we see each other again.

Shelby.

Semper Fi Brother Rest in peace

Ron, thank you for your friendship and befriending me at Kari Sue, where I enjoyed your stories and our conversations on our layover every day. I’ll still be taking you up on that fishing trip one day. Rest in peace, my friend.

It was an absolute pleasure training Ron to be a school bus driver. He will be missed greatly by the people he worked with and, most of all the children's lives he touched. Rest in peace Ron

Obituary

Ronald's Obituary

Ronald Glenn Warlick, born on October 26, 1947, in Gadsden, Alabama, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Draper, Utah, surrounded by loved ones. He had a belly full of Thanksgiving dinner with pumpkin and pecan pie with whipped cream. He resided in Sandy, Utah, near his daughter’s home in Draper, Utah, and his favorite Watering Hole at Wing Nutz. Ronnie was the beloved son of Frank Murray Warlick and Lillian Irene Walker Warlick.

Ron served in the Marine Corps, joining on March 24, 1969. He attended the University of Oklahoma and Central State College.

R. G. Warlick excelled as a sales manager for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. He endeavored working his own business as a franchisee for National Home Flooring, climbed ladders at Home Depot, walked home to home for the 2010 Census, and, most recently, accepted a calling to drive the school bus for students with special needs for Jordan School District, where he cherished serving and connecting with “his kids.”

Skipa’s passion was his family - he adored his son, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughters. He was a brother, father, grandfather, and uncle to many, to both relatives and close friends. He enjoyed fly FISHING, shore FISHING, deep sea FISHING, spending time with friends, his Cheers bar, and being outdoors. He loved camping; boating; water SKIING; snow SKIING (“Skipa”); playing and watching baseball, football, and soccer; and drinking “a little” beer and whiskey. He was eager to learn more about history, read voraciously, and enjoyed watching movies, listening to country music, turning the ladies on the dance floor, and was known for his famous bloody marys. Ron savored mornings and a full cup of coffee as well as lunch or dinner at La Hacienda Restaurant.

He will be remembered for “Hi, Sweetheart,” his contagious smile, his ornery nature, his love for “the ladies,” his outgoing ambition to have one heck of a good time, his love and presence to his family, his genuine actions to care for others, and by the hundreds of people whom he taught to water ski (Who’s next?!). Ron brought JOY to those around him.

He is adored on Earth by his beloved children Michelle Chapman and Ronald “Todd” Warlick; his son-in-law Eric Chapman; as well as five granddaughters, Shelby (Taylor), Laken (Theron), Grace, Claire, and Kate; and three great-granddaughters, Karsyn, Kinley, and Oakley. His brother and friend Gerald "Jerry” Frank Warlick lives in Mustang, OK, with his wife, Gloria. He is joined in Eternal Peace by his parents and his sister Brenda Joyce Whittaker.

Bye, Sweetheart
