Ruby Lavangline (Little) Anderson, 82, the beloved matriarch of our family, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on January 09, 1943, to parents, Ruby Mae Lindsey and Winsford Jerome Little. Ruby was warm and loving and lived a full and vibrant life marked by curiosity and creativity. She enjoyed playing games with friends and family and fancied putting together the most challenging of puzzles. She loved traveling, especially long road trips with her husband, and was fortunate to have lived across and experienced many different states throughout her lifetime. Her adventures often led her to the simple joys of rock and seashell hunting, collecting treasures that reminded her of the beauty she found on their long walks. Of all the places she explored, she was most fond of southwestern culture - its rich colors, artistry, and especially its turquoise, which reflected her bright and spirited personality, beautiful both inside and out. Ruby's life was defined by love, faith, and hard work. She dedicated herself to her family, instilling in her children the values of integrity, compassion, and perseverance. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion created a legacy of love that will continue to guide those she leaves behind. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Mae Lindsey and Winsford Jerome Little; siblings, Lubie Fike, Lalia Brown, James Little, Mary Ellen Bunn, Evelyn Jones, and Arweda Wright.
