Ronald Lee Williamson, age 51 of Canada, KY passed away on November 17, 2021. He was born on October 28, 1970, in Pikeville, Ky; the son of Donald Ray Williamson and Beulah Ann May-Williamson. Ronald was a retired coal miner where he primarily worked as an electrician. He was baptized November 27, 1999, at Narrow's Branch Old Regular Baptist Church in Hardy, KY. Ronald was known to have a wonderful sense of humor and a very giving spirit. He was a wonderful father and grand-father and considered his children and grand-children to be his greatest blessings. He was more than willing to put their needs above his own. Ronald was always willing to help others without hesitation and spent the last several years of his life taking care of and meeting the needs of his parents. Ronald was proceeded in death by one brother, Albert Ray Williamson of Sidney, KY. Survivors include his parents; Donald Ray and Beulah Ann Williamson of Canada, KY; one son; Ronald Lee Williamson II of Louisa, KY; two daughters; Kelsey Lashay (James) Mcdonald of Delbarton, WV and Skyler Rayann (Dylon) Williamson of Williamson, WV. Two brothers; Bruce (Becky) Williamson of Kimper, KY and Brian (Tessy) Williamson of Kimper, KY. Nine grand-children; Christina, Konnor, Korben, Kaizlee, Carson, Christiv, Skylynn, Dausyn & Indie. Ronald is also survived by his best friend and devoted mother of his children, Missie Spaulding of Williamson, WV and several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. with a special service at 7:00 p.m. with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 22, 2021, at Dix Fork Old Regular Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. with Richard Staton and Hobert Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at the Stanley Cemetery with Mark Marcum, Dylon Hager, James Mcdonald, Tony Ray Williamson, Roy Michael Williamson, Jack David Williamson, David Lee May serving as Pallbearers. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home to help with final expenses. Ronald will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends. R. E.
