Ronald "Bud" York

Ronald J. York “Bud”, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 15, 2025 at Princeton Medical Center with his family by his side. Born in Ridgewood, NY., he had previously resided in Princeton before relocating to Florence Township, NJ. He was a graduate of Pratt Institute where he received his master’s degree. Bud worked as an art director prior to becoming a Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. He was a Past Master of Atlas Pythagoras Lodge #10 F & AM in Westfield, NJ and a member of Princeton Lodge #38 F & AM.  Bud was also the Right Eminent Grand Commander of Knights Templar for the State of New Jersey in 2007. He was also a Deacon of St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Carteret, NJ.

Predeceased by his parents John T. Wiese and Angelina Reck, he is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Margaret Lord-York, his son and daughter in-law, Scott and Bridget Wiese, his grandchildren: Ryan, Brandon and Dylan, his sister, Karen Mandarine and his two Havanese dogs, Rafael (13) and Maria Angelica (9).

There will be a Masonic Service celebrating Bud on Saturday April 19 at 11 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
