Not sure what to say?

Our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers are with you all! We are heartbroken as we know many others are. Mr. Ron & Ms. Tana have been loyal long term clients over 10 years and we all just adore them. Ron was pretty much every week consistently unless they were on one of their lovely trips. He always came in with his signature ‘Bright’ smile and a kind word for everyone and how we all loved hearing about his vacations and seeing the beautiful pictures. I know we join a host of others as...

Our sincerest condolences to Ron's family. He was well known and thought of in the oil and gas patch and a go to guy when our customers had need of Ajax assistance.

So sorry for your loss. Rip Ron. Lots of good memories with Ron and Tana. Shelley

I was so shocked at learning of Ron's passing. I am speaking for the Samco family which includes many people. I dealt with Ron for over 20 years, Samco did for over 40. Ron was as honorable and 'standup' a man as there was. He was always pleasant, helpful, informative and a joy to deal with. He always had a good story about business, vacation or family to share and enjoy. As he is missed by friends and family many more in the compression industry miss him as well. Blessings to Ron and his...

Ron was a classmate of mine, Crooked Oak H.S., class of 1967. He was a genuinely nice guy. He and Tana often attended our alumni lunches. He will be missed.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Tana and Family,
My deepest condolences to all of you as you grieve the passing of Ron.

I went to school with Ronnie many years ago. He came to some of our alumni events-it was always a pleasure to see his smile and talk with him. He was a very kind man who will be missed by many. Rest in Peace.

Ron was born on July 2, 1949 in Seminole, Oklahoma and was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on September 10, 2022.

Ron was a really hard worker and worked at L&L Engine & Compressor over 50 years.  He also loved his garden and enjoyed giving fresh fruit, vegetables, salsas, and jellies to many others.  Ron was a really good Christian man who may have seemed a bit tough on the exterior at times, but had a heart of gold and was always available to help others any way he could and often without anyone knowing.  Ron was very bold in his faith and heavily involved in the First Freewill Baptist Church / Hill Side Church in Blanchard, Oklahoma.  He led several men’s groups, facilitated adult bible studies on the book of Revelation, and enjoyed cooking for various church activities and events.  Ron enjoyed coaching little league football and baseball, he was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling (especially many trips to Mexico), enjoyed OU football and was a season ticket holder for 40 plus years, and was passionate about his family and attending their many various activities.

Ron is survived by his wife Tana, sister Susan and husband Jim Halstead, daughter Kim Bright, son Jeff Bright, son Don Billingsley, daughter Shaney Kolde and husband Michael, brother Justin Newman and wife Gloria, Carlis Newman and wife Susan, and sister Tina (Newman) Kochen and husband Brad.  Grandchildren include: Aaron (Scotty) White, Brandon White and spouse Alex, Megan Grizzle, Morgan Grizzle, Ashtin (Lee) Meloan and husband Dane, Brooklyn Dillon, Skylar Billingsley, Landry Billingsley, Riggs Billingsley, Levi Bright, and Congo Bright.  Great grandchildren include: Zoe Schopplein, Kash Cavin, Hannah White, River White, and other loving family members.  Ron loved his family dearly and was happiest when they were together and the family will miss those occasions very much.

Ron is preceded in death by his father Gene Bright and wife Hettie, his mother Pat Whitt, and daughter Kelly Bright.

Viewing will be available Thursday, September 15th 12:00pm – 8:00pm at Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard, Oklahoma 73010 (2500 North Council Avenue) and a funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16th at 10:00am at Hill Side Church in Blanchard (1406 North Main Street) and interment to follow at the Blanchard Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, Oklahoma.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hill Side Church Outreach Program, P.O. Box 905, Blanchard, OK 73010.  Ron was very passionate about this program.
