Mr. Ronnie Dale Martin, 69 of Cookeville, TN, passed away on October 28, 2025, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born on October 8, 1956, in Cookeville, TN to the late William H. (Bill) Martin and Gilla (Anderson) Martin. Ronnie worked as a Truck Driver for Institutional Wholesale. He was avid in sports, Golden Glove boxer, played baseball, coached T-ball and umpired.
Ronnie loved the outdoors, grilling, cutting the grass, camping, and detailing our vehicles. He followed college and Pro football. And was a Vols fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Brothers: Jimmy Martin and LeRoy Martin; Sister and Brother-In-Law: Paulette and (Austin) Thomas.
Ronnie is survived by his Wife: JoAnne B. Martin; Son: Tyler J. Martin; Daughter: Kelly (Norrod) Brooks; 3 Grandchildren: Jacob Norrod, Emma G. Norrod, and Allie K. Norrod. Also by a Niece: Lisa Bowman and Nephew: Randy Thomas.
Ronnie loved his family and friends. He will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date and time.
