Ronnie's Obituary

Ronald Dean “Ronnie” Watson, 55, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.  The son of Charles Dean Watson and Sara “Nell” (Bland) Watson, Ronnie was born in Oklahoma City on September 14, 1970.

Ronnie was a 1989 graduate of Moore High School and grew up in the Moore/Southwest Oklahoma City area.  He married Carey Clarice Chapman in Ada on August 3, 1996.  They moved to Blanchard, where they have made their home since 2016.  Ronnie worked as a freight and construction equipment salesman for many years.  Ronnie was a big OU Football fan and loved spending time outdoors doing all kinds of activities like fishing, boating, and swimming.  He loved going to his son’s games when he was growing up and continued that with attending his nieces and nephews sporting events.  We know he would have continued with his two precious granddaughters as well as they grew up. Ronnie’s passing has left a void in the lives of all that knew him, and he will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nell Watson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years , Carey Clarice Watson; one son, Sayer Dean Watson and wife Kylee; two grandchildren, Southern Claire Watson and Eleanore Jane Watson; brother, Jeff Watson and wife Sherry; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Sheril Chapman; brother-in-law, Todd Chapman and wife Shauna; nieces and nephews, Conner, Brookelyn, Addyson Chapman, Taylor and Logan Watson; one great niece, Lily Chapman and other loving family members and friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
