Roscoe Franklin Gordon Sr. “Sco Dog” was born in Prichard, Alabama to the late Robert Lee Gordon Sr. and Lillie Taylor Gordon on December 22, 1953. He was a lifelong resident of Prichard, Alabama and 1971 graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School. Roscoe Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee & Lillie Gordon Sr. and two brothers Robert Gordon Jr. and Frank Gordon all of Prichard, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three children: son, Roscoe Gordon Jr., Mobile, AL; daughter, VaKeshia Gordon, son, Terrance (Roshonda) Gordon Sr. both of Dallas, TX, and friend/former wife: Sharon Gordon, Mobile, AL. Five grandchildren: Terrance II, Jacob, Judea, Tzzipporah, and Ezekiel all of Dallas, TX. Three sisters: Dorothy Harris, Mobile, AL; Diane (Willie Sr.) Adamson, Columbus, OH; Faye (Bobby) Dates, Grand Bay, AL; two brothers: Rev. Charles E. Forrest, New Albany, GA & Lorenzo Gordon Sr., Grand Bay, AL., and one sister-in-law: Gwendolyn Gordon, Mobile, AL. He also leaves a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
