Not sure what to say?

Bob Flee, Ralph Bach, Jim Boatwright and Hugh Weller

Hugh Weller, teacher and track coach at Lowrey High School and Middle school as well as Fordson
YOU WERE AN AWESOME TEACHER AND WELL RESPECTED - at least we got to laugh one more time - thanks

He can be seen in this photo taken at our class reunion in 2007 with teachers (left to right) Bob Flee, Ralph Bach, Jim Boatwright and Hugh Weller.

I went to Lincoln Park High with Hugh - many years ago- he was 1/2 grade behind me. Remember the 1/2 years? But I did have an English class with him and knew him as we were from the same neighborhood. It was a pleasure to meet up again when he taught at Fordson. And in retirement at the Tues. a.m. breakfast at Leon"s. Always pleasant and good conversations with Hugh and Betty. John too sends his condolences to his family. Heartfelt Sympathy - Barbara and John McIntyre

Very sad to hear about Mr. Weller. He was a genuine, kind person, and I know my late father thought very highly him both as a fellow educator and a friend.

Such sad news hearing of Hugh passing. We got to know Hugh through Memberfocus Credit Union, and developed a wonderful relationship with him and Betty. We spent many years attending Monte Carlo night at the Exchange Club with them both, they were always so kind and welcoming. Many golf outings in Dearborn! Jon would pick Hugh up and take him out to lunch periodically after he was no longer able to drive. We would always spend time talking about all our kids and their sports and Hugh and...

My thoughts and prayers are with Betty and the Weller Family at this very sad time. I am so sorry for your loss.

I will miss Hugh very much. In our conversations at Fordson and at Leon's ; foillowing retirement, he was always interested informed and full of many many stories. One of our best teachers and Rusty Tractors.

Dear Betty and Family: We are lifting you up in prayer at the loss of your dear Hugh. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories and times you all shared together. It was a pleasure to see Hugh at the Fordson teachers gathering in Frankenmuth and reminisce with him. Please know that our hearts are with you and your family. Our heartfelt sympathy, George & Karen Stoops

I had the distinct pleasure of having had Hugh as a teacher plus we worked together for a time at Fordson High School. Finally as a friend.! Hugh was a caring man who loved life and his family and friends!! Iam a better person for having him in my life in so many ways! Always happy always a wit! He loved his life and those he came into contact with! No question he is at peace and in the loving care of our Lord !! Thank you Hugh! A life well lived !

I enjoyed helping Hugh & Betty with the little things that made their life a little easier. He was always so appreciative. He had a rough time seeing me but he said he always recognized me by my red crossbody purse. I am so sorry for your loss but he will ALWAYS be with you! He will be missed.
