Rose Marie Davi, 85, passed away on May 13, 2025. Rose was born in Antioch, CA to Senado and Carmen Cadena and was raised with her four siblings in Pittsburg, CA. As a young girl, Rose was admired for her exceptional dancing abilities, sharing her talent and warmth by dancing for the World War II soldiers at Camp Stoneman, as well as many other social events within the local communities, near and far.
Rose grew up attending Pittsburg schools. As a spirited High School cheerleader, she embodied the school’s energy and enthusiasm, where her leadership and many friendships brought much joy to those who knew her. She would also be crowned “Miss Pirateer” in the 1956-1957 school year.
Subsequent to graduating from Pittsburg High School, Rose attended Business college in San Francisco. She later married her first husband and High School sweetheart, Charles Verduzco with whom she shared three children: Darla, Charles “Buzz”, and Jami. Their happy years together were tragically cut short by Charles’s untimely passing.Several years later, Rose remarried Vincent Davi. In the early 1980's, Rose and Vince moved to Kihei, Maui HI, where they managed vacation condominium rentals. Their hard work blossomed into their own business, Davi Enterprises at Kamaole Beach Royale. Over the years, KBR became a beloved destination for many Pittsburg families and beyond.
Rose loved to travel, especially on cruises. Yet, her greatest joy was always her family. The “LOVES” of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren (GiGi), for whom she was a constant source of support, celebrating every milestone and occasion.
Rose’s warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She brightened countless lives, and we will miss her deeply, especially her beautiful smile. Rose’s legacy of love, compassion and generosity will continue to live on within her family and friends for generations to come. Rose is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and blended family.
