Know that a warrior familiar with the trials and afflictions of this side of eternity has transitioned from her sojourn here, but Oh glory be to God that we learn from her life the straight and narrow lessons taught !
I will cherish the memory of our New Orleans walk to the bus stop by the bakery as we also smelled the hint of aroma of coffee ... Rose encouraged me...

Rose Marie Maulet entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, LA. Beloved daughter of the late Audrey Duncans and Lester Maulet, Sr. Mother of Antanika Tisdale, Kimberly Maulet Chisholm (Solomon), Timothy Maulet all of NOLA, and Audrey Rose Fletcher and Tonya Fletcher both of Birmingham, AL. Sister of Glenda F. Adams, Sharon Johnson, Ida Holmes, Ricky Fletcher, Michael Fletcher and the late Dennis Maulet, Sr., Arthur Fletcher, Huey Fletcher, and Rudy Faulks, Sr. Grandmother of Arthur, Robriaun, Juan Maulet, Kawanda Maulet and Timothy Maulet, Jr. , Henry White, Swanetta Fletcher and Solomon W. Chisholm, III. Great Grandmother of expected baby Layla Mari Jones. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastor, Officers and Members of People United Methodist Church are all invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Majestic Mortuary 1833 Oretha C.
