Rose's Obituary

Rose Elaine (McDaniel) Moss, 95, formerly of Chickasha, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of John Jenkins (John J) McDaniel and Chloie Edith (Weems) McDaniel, Rose was born September 21, 1930, in Minco.

Rose grew up in Minco and graduated from Minco High School.  She was always proud of the fact that her Dad was the Baptist minister.  Rose played the piano as a child at the church in Minco and always kept the love of playing throughout her life.

Rose married Jack McComas and together they had four children.  She worked on her family’s dairy farm for twenty years while raising her children and mostly being a wonderful homemaker.

After Jack passed away, she married Lance Edgar (LE) Moss.  She lived in Tuttle for a short time and most recently in Chickasha for the last 15 years before going to assisted living.    Rose also worked at the family business, Moss Implement in Minco as a parts person.

Rose volunteered at the Grady Memorial Hospital for many years. She had a huge heart for serving others.   Rose’s last place of worship was Southern Hills Baptist Church in Chickasha.   Her greatest enjoyment was being a Mom and Grandma.  She bragged on them to everyone she met.  The family was blessed to have Rose for 95 years, but she will be forever missed and loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Jack McComas and LE Moss; and five siblings, Maxine, Bernice, Johnny, Hugh, and Buford.

Rose is survived by one daughter, Cathy Fassero and her husband, Jeff, of Scottsdale, Arizona; three sons, Ronnie McComas and his wife, Lori, of Benton, Kansas, Kyle McComas and his wife, Rhonda, of Amber, and Randy McComas and his wife, Shirley, of Chandler; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Edith Verser and her husband, Jerry, of Chickasha; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 7, 2026, in the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
