Rosemarie Aiuto

Rosemarie Aiuto, 95 years old, of Macomb township, passed away on September 2, 2023. Rosemarie was born to the late Paul and Rose (Leavine) Filipiak in Grindstone City, Michigan, on October 8, 1927.

 She enjoyed gardening, playing music and being with her family.

She is survived by her sons; Joe (Krystyna) Chagnon, of Macomb Township, Robert Chagnon of Ypsilanti; daughter Donna Emmendorfer of Harrison Township; step-daughters Cynthia (Darren) Gravett, St. Clair Shores, Jeanine (Mark) Lawson, Ranee (William) Naschak, of Macomb township; step-brother Clayton (Linda) Kubacki of Harbor Woods, and was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her step daughter Darlene Urbon, and son-in-law Martin Emmendorfer.

Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at St. Michaels’ Catholic Church in Port Austin, Michigan at 11:00 AM, with Fr. Craig Caroline officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Catholic church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 until the time of service at the church on Wednesday.
