A good friend that will always be missed

It was a true pleasure working with Roy for many many years. You could always count on him to do what needed to be done with a smile on his face. He had a sense of humbleness that few have. Roy was always making me laugh. He will be sorely missed by many.

Roy, It was awesome knowing and working with you over the past 30 years. You truly reached an unthinkable apex in your life of success and significance. Always so kind. Always bringing a smile. I will miss you along with the many, that will as well.

We met Roy at the sailboat races in Bivalve, Maryland, seven years ago. Since then, he has been like an older brother to Wally. Roy was super smart, talented, and always available for a good conservation. He was an incredible human being, with a great moral compass. We have all suffered a great loss with Roy's passing. Our deepest condolences to Lily, and his family and friends.

Roy was a great friend, crewmember and mentor to many. Unpretentious and unparalleled in his compassion and concern for the best in everything, it was a true pleasure to be able to work with him for the bulk of my professional career. As much as he is missed by all family and friends, I pray for real comfort for All... my condolences.
