We here at the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, formerly Upper Rock Island County and Illinois Quad City Chamber of Commerce are sincerely saddened to hear of Roy's passing. I knew Roy personally when he was working for Beling Consultants, back in the day. He was an avid supporter of our communities and especially Moline. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Roy's family and friends.

Although I am a " neighbor" to those who have lived in Connestee, I was not acquainted with Roy. My interest was in the request for donations to the Debra Foundation. I taught biology at Brevard High School for 27 years. In the genetics class I showed the film "The Crisco Kid" to students. It was a touching depiction of the disease. I have been retired 24 years. Hadn't thought of that film in all that time until I looked up the foundation. A donation will be forth-coming. Jenny...
