Roy E. Mann, Sr.

Roy E. Mann, Sr., 59, of Elberton, Ga., passed away February 29, 2016, in Athens, Ga.Roy was a member of the Lake Russell Baptist Church in Elberton. He was also on the church building committee a member of the Men’s Sunday School. Roy was a private person, but he would help anyone that he could.Roy was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Mae Hartman, sister Bonnie Hackney, Daughter Misty Marie Reid. Roy is survived by his wife Marilyn Mann, sons Roy Mann, Jr., Christopher Paul Mann (Michaela) and Brian Lee Brown (Rhonda), brother William George Mann (Tammy), sisters Rosie Greer and Tara Green, seven grandchildren, three great grand babies and a host of relatives and friends.A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Lake Russell Baptist Church, 1239 Bobby Brown Park Rd., Elberton Ga. 30635.In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Lake Russell Baptist Church Building Fund.
