Roy Thomas May Jr., 72, of Osceola passed away November 23, 2021 at the Memphis VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN. He was an Army veteran in which he served two tours in Vietnam and received these medals; Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. May was born in Manila to Roy Thomas May Sr. and Lorene Vaughn May. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Joshua May. He is survived by his wife Linda May of Osceola, one son Thomas (Terri) May of Lillington, NC, six daughters Francis (Lesley) Walker of Blytheville, Audra Paslay of Hope, Stephanie (Theodore) Brown of Marked Tree, Dena (Daniel) Davis of Lepanto, Karen (Howard) Hendrix of Houston, Lisa (Chris) Bailey of Dillon, SC, one brother Larry (Nancy) May of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, two sisters Patricia (Larry) Hitt of Sheridan, LaDonnia (Jimmy) Burnett of Osceola, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday November 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM with the funeral to follow at 11:30 AM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at AR State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, AR at 2:00 PM with Apostle Jeff Crockett officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR is in charge of arrangements.
