Ruby Anne Adkins, age 72, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Ruby was born on August 29, 1952 in Rockcastle County, KY to the late Donald Mullins and Madgelene Thompson Mullins. She always put everyone first in her life. Ruby was a wonderful caregiver and very compassionate. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terry Adkins, whom he married on June 21, 2000 in Lexington, KY; her children, Donna Reed of Somerset, Potter (Valerie) Reed of Chattanooga, TN, T.J. (Desirae) Reed of Louisiana, Chris Adkins of Nancy and Jason (Britni) Adkins of Eubank; one sister, Sandy Tolson of Lexington; twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; two nephews, Curt and Rodney Gumm; and other family members and friends who are saddened by her passing.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William (Norma) Adkins; brother-in-law Eddie Tolson; and daughter-in-law, Courtney Adkins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held by the family at a later date.
