Ruby Ailene Pruitte

Ruby Ailene Pruitte age 80 of Watertown, died Sunday evening, April 13, 2025 at Hartsville Convalescent Center. Born May 10, 1944, Ruby was the daughter of the late Houston and Flora Allison Taylor. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Anderson; son, Howard Lee Pruitte, Jr.; great granddaughter, MaKayla LaRue Woods; sisters, Mai Dell Taylor and Sammie Harris; brother, Miles Taylor and an infant brother, Donald Taylor.

Ruby is survived by a daughter, Chastity Renee Hubbard; son, Randy Pruitte (Miriam Eldridge) and stepson, Charles "Bo" Hubbard, Jr.; grandchildren, Randy Austin Pruitte, Michael Charles Pruitte, Daniel Clower, Jr. and Kristal Clower; several great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters, Ona Lee Tomlinson, Charles (Barbara) Taylor, Linda (Bobby) Vaughn, Robert (Candy) Taylor, Donna (David) Beadle, Jerry (Sherri) Taylor; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and prior to services Thursday.  Interment will follow at Hunter Memorial Park.
