Prayers are with this entire family. I remember as a child attending occasionally St. John MB Church under pastoral leadership of my late uncle, Rev. TJ Lewis. Brother Boykin was a spiritual, dedicated, faithful man and family man. To God be the glory for things He has done. Rest well in Christ.

Rudolph Boykin, Sr., 99, passed away April 30, 2019. He is survived by his daughters, Vivian Lyons, Maggie Tyus, Joyce Glass, Connie Boykin, and Mary Ann Burton; sons, Rudolph Boykin, Jr., Robert Boykin, Randy Boykin, James Boykin, Willie Ray Boykin, Charles Wayne Boykin and Bruce Boykin; sisters, Charlean Alston, Ollie Edmond and Gereladine Braggs; and brother, Floyd Boykin. He will be missed by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
