Not sure what to say?

Rudy was a dear friend and a true southern gentlemen. Always had a smile and a hug for me. We shag danced together, volunteered at Good Shepherd, and worked on Habitat together or other projects that he was helping someone in need. He had such a big heart and will truly be missed by many.

~♡~ My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all ~♡~ Rudy was a sweet man and a great friend I will miss ~ My heart is sad ~

We are praying for you all as you adjust to loosing Mr. Cobb. How wonderful he was able to stay fit and active in Wilmington and with each of you during your gatherings. I look forward to having Amy reminisce with old Peace pictures when he would take us out to eat in Raleigh. Red Lobster was definitely a favorite!

We can’t possibly put in words what a best fiend Rudy has been to us for several years. We generally met every other year to play golf, share experiences and just enjoy one another’s company. We had scheduled a trip to Gatlinburg next month to meet and enjoy one another.we spoke on the phone at least once a week or so. And I just can’t tell you how much he will be missed. But we know for sure we will get together again one day in Heaven.

My heart and prayers are with each of you, asking the God of comfort to carrier you through this time. Rudy was loved by all, he always had a smile on his face, he had a big caring heart, always ready to dance, all us ladies loved to dance with him. He will be missed, the smile the dances and his loving spirit. I was blessed to call him my friend.

Rudy was a huge part of our business success. A southern gentleman & friend. We will miss him greatly.

I’ve known Rudy for about 8 years through shag dancing! He was always friendly and gracious as well as a wonderful dancer. Our birthdays were two days apart so we enjoyed many special Shag birthday dances! He will be missed by many friends! My condolences to his family. Save me a dance in Heaven, Rudy!

Harvey Wayne and I were both blessed to have known you my friend. Rudy was there every step of the way during Harvey’s knee replacement. I will miss my Shagging buddy.
We will miss you greatly my friend❤

Rudy was one of our favorite people at First Baptist Church. He was always welcoming, said a kind word, and had a wonderful smile. We had such a gentle and uplifting spirit about him. He blessed us with his presence every Sunday. Sending our love from the Dixon family to the Cobb family.
